## Why reps (and finance) like it

### Only valid builds reach the deal

Set simple rules on your products: can't combine with, needs one of, needs all of. Options that don't fit say why, and nothing invalid can be added.

### Discounts with a guardrail

Give each product a maximum discount. Reps can go up to it, and it is checked again on the server when the build is added.

### Line items done for you

Builds become line items linked to your HubSpot products, with the right prices and quantities, and the deal amount is updated.

### Set up with pick-lists, not code

Mark kits and options with a few product fields, import your price list with HubSpot's own import, and a setup card flags mistakes.

### Builds that wait for you

Unfinished builds are kept on the deal and come back the next time anyone on the deal's team opens it.

### One flat price, not per seat

Priced per HubSpot account, with a whole team of reps included. No Revenue Hub subscription needed.

## How it works

1. **Pick a kit**
On any deal, open the Product Configurator and choose what you're selling: a system, a package, a plan.
2. **Choose the options**
Required choices are flagged, rules are applied as you click, and the total updates as you go.
3. **Add to the deal**
Set a quantity and an allowed discount, then add. The line items and deal amount appear on the deal.

## Is it a fit?

### Great fit

Teams that sell configurable products (HVAC, security, solar, AV, IT hardware, plans with add-ons) and send deals on to an ERP or accounting system for the order and invoice.

### Not a fit (yet)

Quote documents, e-signature or billing inside HubSpot; options inside options; prices that depend on the combination.
